Why was one of my duplicate transactions dropped?

ETC Bypass Indicator- also know as duplicate transactions is a default set to the backend to protect the merchant from chargebacks. A duplicate transaction is when a merchant runs a clients card within a 2-hour time period on the same date and with the same amount. Eventually one will be dropped because our backend will reflag it as a mistake. However, by enabling the ETC By pass Indicator Flag on, the system will NOT drop a duplicate transaction if the customer account number, transaction date and transaction amount are the same as a previous transaction within the same batch and within 2-hour time frame.
